Freddie Brown has traveled a long way from his small town roots of Lometa, Tx. to Nashville,TN. This small town Texas boy wanted only to sing and play his guitar since he was a small boy growing up in Lometa,Tx. When Freddie was very young,he would listen to Elvis Presley on the radio. He would get his Mother's broom and pretend it was his guitar and sing along with Elvis. When he was a teenanger he would go to an old schoolhouse in Star,Tx. and practice with his fellow musician buddies Charles Stone and John Sanderson.One night when Freddie was practicing there, a boy by the name of Charles Hopper heard the music while he was driving by the old school house. He stopped and went into the old school and listened to Freddie and the boys practicing. He then asked Freddie to join his group "The Ultimate Expression". That was to be the first band Freddie would be in. The band was booked all over Texas at private parties. That was the beginning of Freddie's music career.
